CES Bespoke Stand Build for Mobil Oil, Canadian F1, Montreal June 2018

Contemporary Event Structures were recently engaged by Mobil 1 to design, manufacture, and install a bespoke inflatable structure for use as their trade stand at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal, taking place 7th – 10th June 2018 at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Our brief was to create a large service station with replaceable branding for use as either Esso or Exxon Mobil.

The structure was an impressive 23m long x 6m deep and stood at over 7.5m tall.

The dedicated team at Contemporary Event Structures designed the inflatable structure and completed manufacture with a lead time of just 30 days.

Our logistics teams had the product airfreighted into Canada and cleared customs days prior to the race meeting in preparation for the event.

Our professional team of expert installers flew to Canada to install the giant structure for our clients at Mobil 1.

The build included custom printed backdrops, vinyl graphics, and rubberised anti-skid flooring.

On the stand, customer engagement was driven by an F1 pit crew simulator where customers could try their hand at setting a time to change the tires on a real Red Bull F1 car like the pros.

The stand also included charger tables for mobile phone charging, WIFI, and a huge petrol pump that customers could try and ‘pump to win’ prizes by stopping the pump at 7.77, which represented the 7 key ingredients of Mobil 1 Esso lubricants.

Contemporary Event Structures provided full logistical and storage solutions for the bespoke inflatable structure as well as design, delivery, and install.
