The BBC engaged CES to supply temporary event structures for its CBeebies Big Day Out event in Weston-super-Mare.
CES provided four inflatable structures to the five-day event in various sizes, which played host to a range of well-loved children’s characters from Furchester Hotel, Sesame Street and Mr Bloom’s Nursery.
More than 40,000 visitors attended, taking part in live cook-offs and healthy eating sessions, as well as watching live stage performances from BBC children’s entertainers.
Moray London, executive producer for BBC Learning, commented: “We were really pleased with how the structures performed over the event, and with both CES’ level of service and attention to detail. We booked the structures to give our event a real sense of impact and to create something visually different to what we’ve done before; we were very happy with the results and received lots of positive feedback from visitors.”
